Hackney Marsh Heroes: Part of a collaborative project with 10 or so other London photographers. We put together an exhibition based around global grass roots football and the origins of the beautiful game. I chose to shoot simple b/w medium format portraits of Hackney Marsh football players and supporters. The Marshes are the grass roots of English football. 111 football pitches, played every Sunday by hundreds of London pub football teams.
